Jocelyn Gadoury, a 35-year-old man, left his Laval residence on Saturday, November 24, 2001 to go to his garage, located on Daoust road in Saint-Eustache. He never made it back home while he was expected in the evening for a kid’s birthday party. His wife and kids never saw him again. Mr. Gadoury was a trucker and therefore, frequently traveled between the province of Quebec and the United States. The investigation suggests that Jocelyn Gadoury would have been the victim of a murder.
