Monique Gravel was 49 or 50 years old at the time of her murder, on April 25, 2004. She was found at home by her children as they returned from their father’s, with whom Monique was in the process of divorcing. Monique’s car, a gold-colored Oldsmobile Aurora, was discovered just a few hours later, abandoned at the intersection of Pontgravé and Laurentien. The keys to the vehicle were also found nearby.
