On August 13, 1995, Marie-Josée Boisjoli-Racine, mother of three children, left her home in Laval, mentioning that she was going on an appointment, without giving any additional details. The next day, his vehicle and personal effects were found at the family chalet located in the Lac Gélinas region of Mont-Tremblant. She has not been seen since.

Helicopter, police, dog handlers and divers looked for her but no trace of her.
