Jimmy Bégin, a taxi driver from Val d’Or (taxi #8), was shot in the head while on duty on the night of December 30, 2009. The murder took place on 12th avenue in Val d’Or. The motive remains a mystery. Jimmy Bégin feared for his safety and didn’t like what he saw. It could be a personal mistake.
