Yvette disappeared at the age of 32, or 33. She would have left the Louis-H Lafontaine hospital, formerly named St-Jean-de-Dieu, where she was hospitalized. Her footprints, as well as her purse, were found on the edge of the Lachine Canal in Verdun. Of note, there was no wallet in the purse. At the time of her disappearance, Yvette weighed 139 pounds (63 kg) and had brown hair. She was 5 ft 6 (168cm) tall and had brown eyes. Yvette also had breast implants.
