Yvon Guévin, 75, disappeared on July 6 around 1 p.m. He then left his residence with his vehicle, accompanied by his dog “Costaud”, a dwarf pinscher. His car, a 1989 wine red Jeep Cherokee (QC: GZP 655), was never found. It had gray tape on the underside. Dives, as well as searches by snowmobiles, ATVs and helicopters, were organized.
According to the family, Mr. Guévin’s psychological state was deteriorating rapidly and they believe that it was a voluntary departure and that he knew where he was going.
Yvon is 1.63m (5ft 4in) tall and has brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he weighed 175 lbs (79 kg) and was bald. He wore glasses, a wine red shirt, gray checked pants and brown sandals.
