September 11th, 1977, Hélène Monast’s body was found in a park near the Chambly canal, behind 224 Maurice Street. She was killed the night of her 18th birthday. She was found naked, strangled, with bruises on her face and bite marks on her breasts. No evidence of sexual assault.
