Longueuil | Roxanne Luce (Thérèse Henrie) Assaulted on April 1, deceased on April 4, 1981

Read Time:1 Minute, 44 Second

Thérèse Henrie Luce, aka Roxanne Luce, was severely beaten in her sleep the night of April 01st to 2nd, 1981 in Longueuil, Québec. Her aggressor beat her with a stick over 100 times. She was left to die, alone, in a pool of her own blood, for over 12 hours before she was found by one of her brothers. She was transported to the hospital, and passed away from her severe injuries, on April 04th. She never regained consciousness.

Roxanne had separated from her partner, Stephen P., not long ago before her death. She considered this relationship as toxic, as Stephen P.  was an alcoholic and she did not want to raise her children in such an environment. Stephen P. was always and remains the main suspect in this case. Stephen P. had no alibis for the night of the assault, he was never charged with the murder.

Roxanne was the single mother of 2 children: Stéphane, 13, a student at a boarding school, Académie Michèle Provost, and Tania, intellectually impaired and fully dependant for care. Roxanne had no known enemies and had an excellent relationship with the father of her children. She was an administrative assistant for a software company. Her son, Stephane Luce, is now the founder of the organization: Meurtres et Disparitions Irrésolus du Québec.

We are appealing to anyone who might:

Have known Stephen P. He is still alive and resides in Lachine, Québec where he is originally from.

Known or worked with Roxanne Luce. Any information you have may be helpful in helping resolved Roxanne’s murder.

In February 2018, Meurtres et Disparitions Irrésolus du Québec installed a poster with Roxanne’s picture it, on a transport truck of Procam International, in Laval, Québec. Another poster was installed on Transport Gilmyr in December 2018. We hope that this visibility will encourage people to come forward with information.
