Raymond Hertzschuch, originally from Switzerland, went missing on July 21, 2004 when he was 75 years old. That afternoon, the septuagenarian left a cottage in Montevilla located in the Montebello sector to go pick mushrooms in the forest. He was staying at this cottage with his family during a visit to Canada and it wasn’t the first time that he had gone mushroom picking during his stay.
Unfortunately, Mr. Hertzschuch never returned and no search has turned up any clue as to what happened to him. At the time of his disappearance, Raymond was wearing a green cap with “OTTAWA” written on it, a white short-sleeved sweater, yellow short pants and khaki sneakers. He weighed 198 lbs (90 kg), had white hair and blue eyes, and was 6 feet (185 cm) tall.
