Sylvie Samson, murdered on 3rd avenue in Pointe-aux-tremble on November 28, 1995. She was 37 years old. She had just gotten off the bus around 6:00 p.m. on her way home from work and was walking home. A man who was clearing his car, a white neon, would have waited precisely for Sylvie to pass before changing his snow brush for an iron bar to hit her on the head. He fled in his vehicle right away.
